We want everyone to be able to use this site. Our target is WCAG 2.2 AA.

What we do

• Full keyboard navigation, visible focus and a “Skip to content” link
• Text contrast of at least 4.5:1; always dark text on orange
• Touch targets of at least 44 pixels
• Meaningful headings, labelled form fields, screen-reader descriptions
• Animations that respect reduced-motion preferences
• Text descriptions for maps; non-colour cues in games and quizzes
• No cookie banner, no third-party scripts

Known limitations

Interactive maps are visual; the information they convey is also given in the page text. Forms are currently sent through your email app.
